Totnes councillors have decided to ignore the 'veggie' lobby and go for traditional sheepskin when it comes to covering their tatty council desks.
The council had been urged not to use animal products to re- cover the tops of the desks which sit in the town's Guildhall council chamber, and to simply sand down the wooden tops and varnish them.See the full content of this document
