UNSCRUPULOUS employers are finding underhand ways of getting rid of staff, claims a South Devon trade union activist.

He says there has been a sharp rise in the number of disciplinary hearings and claims big businesses are trumping up bogus reasons to sack workers, or making staff reapply for jobs and offering such low terms people leave to find work elsewhere.
