Summary

REGARDING the report 'DSS hostels seriously harm our seaside towns' (HE, July 21), here we go again and I'm going to get right back up on my high horse and jump to their defence.

No one really wants the homeless housed near their own doorstep, no one wants the mentally ill living near them either, and why? Because of 'ignorance' and 'stigma' which are all too often shown towards such people by the general public.
