Summary
THE ADDITION of a power play option spiced up Mike Dyer's Captain's Day competition at Dawlish Warren. A large field competed in the 4BBB, which included the power play on six holes, where teams could choose to play to an alternative pin position and gain double points.
Head greenkeeper John Welsford must have had great fun in choosing the location of some the power play holes, which were placed on slopes -- if you missed the hole, your next putt was not going to be a tap-in!
