A BRIXHAM teacher has joined forces with a local parent to launch a campaign to save Chestnut Primary School.

Both Chestnut and St Margaret Clitherow are under review after all five of the port's primaries are experiencing a fall in pupil numbers. Torbay Council has outlined three options to resolve the problem which are to keep the status quo, close Chestnut or amalgamate it with St Margaret Clitherow.
