FIRST TEAM captain Jon Veale says that Torbay Hockey Club's opening two games of the N4 West League season -- they play promoted East Devon away and then West Wilts at home -- must set down a marker for their whole campaign in Premier Division Three.

Veale, 24, who is just starting his second year as 1st XI skipper, will lead his team out for Saturday's curtain raiser against East Devon at Exeter.
