LAST weekend's windy conditions added to the challenge for 60 and more competitors in the Brixham Archers' Rose Award Tournament at Churston Ferrers Grammar School.
They entered from clubs across the South West, but mostly from Torquay, Paignton and Brixham to compete in one of three categories: Recurve Bow, Compound Bow and Compound or Longbow, and in a variety of rounds including the Gents' York round that involved shooting six dozen arrows at a distance of 100 yards, four dozen at 80 yards and two dozen at 60 yards.See the full content of this document
