THE hot news in the Under-13 (Pietersen) division is that Shaldon, who thought they had the title in the bag two weeks ago, can actually be caught by second-placed Harberton if they can beat Abbotskerswell in their last game and secure 29 points in the process.

That is possibly a tall order, even against the bottom team in the league, but despite wins in their last two games of the season, Shaldon only picked up 38 points leaving the possibility of being pipped at the post by plucky Harberton.
