POWERBOATING enthusiasts are set to swarm to Torquay again this summer as part of the 2011 British Powerboat Festival.
The festival sees the return of the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes offshore powerboat race - the first of its kind in Britain in 1961 and the first to introduce offshore powerboat racing outside of the United States. Around 40 boats will take part in the 225-mile race on August Bank Holiday Sunday.See the full content of this document
