HUNDREDS of Orange Order supporters marched through Brixham on Saturday to commemorate William of Orange's landing on British soil from Holland in 1688.
Around 200 people from across the country visited the port to celebrate the anniversary of the Protestant Prince William arriving in Brixham with a fleet of 600 ships and 15,500 soldiers to overthrow the reigning Catholic monarchy. Orange Order supporters donned costumes and sashes commemorating the event and marched from the town's police station to the war memorial above the lifeboat station, where they laid wreathes.See the full content of this document
