MANAGER Paul Buckle believes that his Torquay United players are getting close to the levels of commitment they will need to take into the start of their Football League comeback in a fortnight's time.

Clearly delighted with the form that his team showed in Thursday night's well-deserved 0-0 draw with Championship side Derby County at Plainmoor, Buckle said: "We'd played some good football against Plymouth (3-3) and Bristol Rovers (1-4), but we'd also let in seven goals in those two games.
