BABBACOMBE Model Village has hit another hurdle in its bid to recreate the Olympics next summer in miniature.
First the Torquay tourist attraction was told by The London 2012 Organising Committee that it could not build a mini Olympic village. Now the body has ruled that a Micro-Olympics can't take place either. "It's a blow for us, but it's the sports men and women I feel sorry for," said general manager Simon Wills.
