Summary
I AM a motoring historian interested in mainly MGs. A number competed in the Torquay Rally of July 1935 and in particular a team of three cars numbered 54, 55 and 56 in the event. These were the 'Three Museteers' using cars that had recently been raced at Le Mans. Imagine a modern Le Mans car trialling and rallying!
I have copies of reports and pictures by Colin C Hetherington of the event from the Torquay Directory, but I wondered if any of your readers had any other pictures or reports of the event, or knew of Mr Hetherington or his archive.See the full content of this document
