Summary
Like many of your readers, I was amazed to read that work has been delayed to Rock Walk because the Conservative administration has now decided that the council needs to ask itself for planning permission (HE, September 8).
The right hand does not seem to know what the left hand is doing. The process to choose the company to do the work seems to have been going on for several months - surely planning permission could have been sought whilst this was going on?See the full content of this document
