AS A Unison steward I have been reading, with some dismay I might add, of the outcome of Torbay Council's job evaluation programme.
I am not surprised however by the outcome. The original 'green book' on job equality in the public sector published in 1999 gave the opportunity for radical reform of public sector pay and conditions that could have revolutionised the public sector.See the full content of this document
