RETIRED dock worker George Thomas, pictured, celebrated his 101st birthday with family and friends at Belmont House Care Home in Brixham.
Mr Thomas was born in West Ham, London. During the Second World War he repaired ships and after the war he qualified as a plumber and welder. He moved to Brixham with his late wife Lilian and family in 1968 and retired in 1974. He was widowed in 1995 after 50 years of marriage.See the full content of this document
