Summary
The first sherry of the day was taken rather earlier than usual at Chez Fletcher after I read in the Herald Express that some 18,000 local households had yet to convert to digital television, whatever that is. So apparently not only will they be relieved of the possibility of tuning into dozens more channels of rubbish but the existing dross will case to be made available to them as well.
Hence the toast in Jerez's finest to all of those souls, most of whom one would assume have consciously made the decision to renounce television and to come over to the wireless, the electronic medium of thinking grown-ups. Bravo!See the full content of this document
