I WAS interested to read Trevor Pennington's letter and delighted to have such re-assurances that in his 'capacity as both the South Hams district councillor for Marldon and as chairman of Marldon Parish Council' he will 'strongly oppose all planning applications from whatever quarter for any redevelopment of Occombe House site other than for the benefit of the current and future vulnerable residents'.
His vociferous defence of their right to stay at Occombe will I am sure be welcomed by the relatives of these residents who continue to be met by intransigence from the Care Trust and the mayor.See the full content of this document
