I have often wanted to visit Cumbria and witness for myself England's deepest and longest lakes beside the country's highest peaks. So when I finally decided to make the trip I wasn't disappointed.

It is a rural retreat which has plenty of action to keep you amused.

And there are so may places to see and stay it can be a quite a chore deciding where to base your holiday from.
