South Hams Council's own watchdogs have called an 'urgent' meeting over the pounds1.25million of council taxpayers' cash locked up in the Iceland banking disaster.

The council's scrutiny committee, which has the job of overseeing and investigating council decisions, will be quizzing the council's strategic director of resources Mark Seymour about the South Hams cash when it meets tomorrow morning.
