FORMER Conservative councillor Colin Hurst accuses the Lib Dems of bias in one of their regular newspapers (HE, March 6).

In a long diatribe to this paper he fails to contest the central theme of the article he complains about. The fact that while the Conservatives borrow Pounds 32million for new civic offices, some disabled people are waiting 12 months plus for home adaptations.
