I wish to respond to the issues raised by Martin Thompson (Your Views, October 10) regarding his perception of the 'Greenspace Strategy' and his firm belief that the 'hidden purpose' behind this policy is to eliminate the 31 low value, low quality parks and open spaces highlighted in the document, with the aim of financing the development of 'affordable housing' and 'social housing'.
I also find his sweeping comments regarding the tenants who reside in 'social housing' as being 'unemployed, unruly and financially supported by hard working taxpayers like him' extremely unhelpful, alarming and totally inaccurate.See the full content of this document
