North Dakota has experienced its first snowfall in June for 60 years, next door Wyoming has had more snow, while further north in Canada, Alberta and Saskatchewan have had blizzards and up to 10 inches of snow (in June). Even South Africa's Eastern Free State has had a light snowfall while both Australia's and New Zealand's skiing centres have opened early.
