THERE is much to enjoy in these paintings and old photographs of the area around Paignton harbour going back more than 100 years.
The harbour has a long history, old maps showing the same basic quays in place in the 15th century. It flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries during the years of the Newfoundland fishery but by 1800 had fallen into disrepair.See the full content of this document
