FIRST team manager Chris Breslan has paid the price for Newton Abbot Spurs' disappointing season in Division One (East) of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, writes Gordon Hines.

He's been replaced by former Middlesbrough youth team player and ex-Bishopsteignton United manager Paul Dyson, who was in the same Boro squad as former England manager Steve McClaren, back in the late 70s.
