A homeless drug addict was yesterday warned not to beg again before his next court appearance or he would face custody.

At Torquay Magistrates' Court, Phillip Webber, 37, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to begging in Palace Avenue, Paignton, on June 9 and breaching bail conditions preventing him from asking passers-by in the street for money.
